Abstract:

Relation between logic and computer games can be investigated in two fields: 1. applying logic in design and generating computer games. 2. Applying logic in perceiving and using computer games. According to our media analytical approach, we focused on second field of relation between logic and computer games which is oriented to communicative and media analysis of computer games. Although Logical axioms almost are hidden behind of audiovisual, procedural and narrative attractiveness of computer games, they have essential importance in case of how user perceive and conspire world of a given game. Binary logic in computer games almost appear in structural contradictive duals which are schemed in triple textual layers of computer games. Accordingly, we utilize theoretical framework of semiology and structural linguistics in order to analyzing these structural contradictive duals. Hence, along with make use of collective case study approach to textual analysis, we draw on “ stratificational semiotics” methodological foundation to segregating textual layers in computer games. To achieving the goal of preparing deeper understanding of applying Binary logic in order to realizing media Function of computer games, especially serious games, different types of applying Binary logic systems were studied and categorized through analyzing structural contradictive duals in triple textual layers (Signal, Narrative and Procedural) of four serious games (Global Conflicts: Palestine, McDonald’ s videogame, Amnesty the game, Peacemaker). In result, we categorize three types of applying Binary logic in the four case studies.

WE PRESENT THE RESULTS OF WIDE FIELD INFRARED AND NEAR-INFRARED SURVEY OF 5.8 DEG AROUND THE PLEIADES CLUSTER CENTRE. WE REMOVE NON-CLUSTER CONTAMINATION ON THE BASIS OF PROPER MOTIONS AND J AND K PHOTOMETRY OF PPMXL CATALOGUE AND W1 AND W2 PHOTOMETRY FROM THE WISE SURVEY AND PRESENT 1157 CANDIDATES CLUSTER MEMBERS DOWN TO 0.04Mʘ. WE HAVE USED THIS LIST OF MEMBERS TO INVESTIGATE THE CLUSTER BINARITY, MASS Function AND MASS SEGREGATION. WE FIND A Binary FRACTION OF 41 ± 10 PERCENT. THE CANDIDATE’S RADIAL DISTRIBUTION PRESENTS EVIDENCE THAT MASS SEGREGATION HAS ALREADY OCCURRED IN THE CLUSTER. THE PLEIADES MASS Function IS THEN DERIVED ACROSS THE STELLAR-SUBSTELLAR BOUNDARY AND WE FIND THAT, BETWEEN 0.04Mʘ AND 4Mʘ, IT IS WELL REPRESENTED BY A POWER-LAW, DN/DM µ M-A, WITH INDEX OF ALOW = 0.69 ± 0.06 FOR LOW MASS AND AHIGH = 2.83 ± 0.18 FOR HIGH MASS STARS. FINALLY, THE CANDIDATE’S RADIAL DISTRIBUTION AND MASS Function PRESENTS EVIDENCE THAT MASS SEGREGATION HAS ALREADY OCCURRED IN THE CLUSTER.

Abstract:

RECENTLY AN EQUATION OF STATE IS OBTAINED FOR THE LIQUIDS AND GASES WHICH IS CALLED THE MODIFIED GMA (MGMA). THIS EQUATION OF STATE IS REPORTED AS [1, 2]:(Z- 1) V3= D(T)+C(T)/ R+B(T)/R2 (1)WHERE D(T) ,C (T) AND B (T) ARE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENT PARAMETERS OF EQUATION OF STATE THAT IS OBTAINED BY FITTING OF THE EXPERIMENTAL DATA. IN OTHER HAND, THE EXCESS Function IS DEFINED AS:M EXCE= M REAL – M IDEAL (2)THE EXCESS FunctionS ARE IMPORTANT IN THE JUSTIFICATION OF NEW THEORIES OF LIQUID MIXTURES.ONE OF THE BEST AND MOST STRAIGHTFORWARD TOOL FOR MEASURING AND PREDICTING OF THE EXPERIMENTAL PROPERTIES (SUCH AS DENSITY, ENTHALPY, ETC.) IS USING THE EQUATION OF STATES THAT IS THE TRADITIONAL METHOD OF STATISTICAL THERMODYNAMICS.IN THIS WORK THE DENSITY AND EXCESS FunctionS (GIBBS FREE ENERGY, ENTHALPY, ENTROPY AND …) OF SOME ALCOHOLS, HYDROCARBONS [3] AND REFRIGERATORS ARE MIXTURES CALCULATED BY MGMA, AND COMPARED WITH THE ACTUAL VALUES. IT IS FOUND THAT THE MGMA CAN PREDICT THE DENSITY AND THE EXCESS FunctionS BY MAXIMUM 0.01% DEVIATIONS. FIGURE 1 SHOWS THE VARIATION OF EXCESS VOLUME BY THE MOLE FRACTION IN THE DIFFERENT PRESSURES FOR N-HEXAN AND CYCLOHEXAN IN THE 298.15 K.

Abstract:

This article shows that any type of Binary data can be defined as a collection from codewords of variable length. This feature helps us to define an Injective and surjective Function from the suggested codewords to the required codewords. Therefore, by replacing the new codewords, the Binary data becomes another Binary data regarding the intended goals. One of these goals is to reduce data size. It means that instead of the original codewords of each Binary data, it replaced the Huffman codewords to reduce the data size. One of the features of this method is the result of positive compression for any type of Binary data, that is, regardless of the size of the code table, the difference between the original data size and the data size after compression will be greater than or equal to zero. Another important and practical feature of this method is the use of symmetric codewords instead of the suggested codewords in order to create symmetry, reversibility and error resistance properties with two-way decoding.

Abstract:

A characteristic of Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) is to allow individual decision making units (DMUs) to select the factor weights which are the most advantageous for them in calculating their efficiency scores. This flexibility in selecting the weights, on the other hand, deters the comparison among DMUs on a common base. For dealing with this difficulty and assessing all the DMUs on the same scale, this paper proposes using a multiple objective linear programming (MOLP) approach based on scalarizing Function for generating common set of weights under the DEA framework. This is an advantageous of the proposed approach against general approaches in the literature which are based on multiple objective nonlinear programming.

Background: Based on the studies which have been done till now, resynchronization of ventricular contraction results in clinical improvement in patients who suffer from moderate to severe heart failure with intraventricular conduction disturbance. and using this method is increasing in our country. Study in this filed seems to be necessary.Material and methods: Sixty-five consecutive patients with advanced heart failure, NYHA Class III and IV, LV ejection fraction (EF)£35%, QRS³120 were studied before and 3 months after CRT. Mean age was 60, 57 and 8 patients with NYHA class III and IV respectively. All patients received furosemide, spironolactone, carvedilol, ACE inhibitors and angiotensin II –receptors blockers at the optimal tolerated dosage. Mean LVEF was 20.83%. Echocardiographic (Tissue Doppler Imaging), ECG and Function class (NYHA) were assessed at baseline before implantation and 3 months after.Result: LV ejection fraction increased +6.8% (21.10±7 vs. 27.93±8.4%, P<0.001). Mitral valve regurgitation severity reduced (P<0.013). Interventricular mechanical delay reduced (53.83ms±18.45 vs. 26.53ms±13.90 P=0.000) and also Intra ventricular mechanical delay reduced (62.53ms±25.08 vs. 45.55ms±13.47, P=0.000). Dilated cardiomyopathic group has more mean changes in LVEF than Ischemic group (+9.06%±7.3 vs. +4.08%±6.5, P=0.01).Conclusion: Biventricular pacing results in significant clinical improvement in patients who have moderate to severe heart failure.

Objective(s): To validate Persian version of the FSFI and to determine its diagnostic cut off score. Methods: This was a descriptive analytic study. To fill in the Persian version of the FSFI. In addition clinical interviews were carried out by a psychiatrist on DSM-4 criteria. Women divided in two age and educational matched groups: the control group (n=28) who have not sexual dysFunction and the case group (n=53) who have sexual dysFunction. Data were analyzed by Cronbach’s alpha and validity was assessed by comparing mean scores of two groups. Optimal cut off score determined by Receiver Operating Characteristic (ROC) curve. Results: The findings showed satisfactory results for full scale and each subscale with Cronbach’s alpha ranging from 0.66 or above for sexually dysFunctional sample and 0.70 or above for sexually active sample. Discriminant validity confirmed the ability of both total and domain scores to differentiate between active and inactive women. On the basis of sensitivity and specificity analyses we found that the optimal cut off score was found to be 28 for differentiating women with and without sexual dysFunction. Conclusion: The findings showed that the Iranian version of Female Sexual Function Index (FSFI) is a reliable and valid instrument for measuring sexual Function in women.
